What does this scope involve?
Good tiling is mostly planning and preparation. The substrate is checked for level and soundness, a layout is set so cuts fall in the least visible places, and tiles are fixed with suitable adhesive and consistent joints. Bathrooms, kitchens and balconies need waterproofing and a floor fall toward the drain. Large-format tiles, patterns and stone are less forgiving and need a flatter base and more careful setting out.
Tiling is planning and preparation first: checking the base, setting the layout so cuts fall in discreet places, then fixing tiles with consistent joints. Wet areas get waterproofing and a fall toward the drain before any tile is laid.
